Description
Carboxymethyl Cellulose is a cellulose derivative with carboxymethyl groups (-CH2-COOH) bound to some of the hydroxyl groups of the glucopyranose monomers that make up the cellulose backbone. Used as a viscosity modifier or thickener and to stabilize emulsions.
